Students with outstanding entries will be selected and offered an invitation (including transportation and hotel) to beautiful Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Incidentals (such as meals) not included. At MSU they will get to visit the Optics research laboratories as well as participate in Astronomy and Aerospace Day April 9th, 2017. The visit will include laboratory tours, a campus visit, fun learning activities, and the opportunity to interact with optics researchers and their research.
Should the weather cooperate, additional activities may include hiking the "M" trail overlooking the Gallatin Valley, hiking to Palisade Falls at Hyalite Reservoir, checking out one of the largest dinosaur fossil collections at the Museum of the Rockies or a star party barbeque! Details about the Bozeman trip will be added here as they come up.
