Casey Kanode
Casey Kanode is a graduate student in the MFA program in Science and Natural History Filmmaking. His undergraduate studies in Forestry and his work at a therapeutic wilderness boarding school, along with his passion for photography led him to pursue a career in filmmaking. He hopes to utilize the medium of film as a vehicle for encouraging children to go outside and discover the world around them. Outside of filmmaking, his interests involve Hiking, Backpacking, Astronomy, and a greater understanding of the natural world, both micro and macro.
