Growing up camping and exploring the outdoors, I developed a passionate curiosity for the inner workings of the world around me. This curiosity led me to become a physics student at San Diego State University. Like any San Diego native, I frequent the beach and enjoy the weather, but when I’m not in the sun, I’m studying physics. As a fourth year undergrad, I am currently conducting research in the solar energy lab on campus for my senior thesis. Experimental physics in the lab has been both a joy and an educator, and I hope to continue my research throughout my academic career. Optics has been a fascinating topic in my research and classes and would be an exciting field for a future career.
