Gunnar Pope

I am a returning student, pursuing a master's degree in mechanical engineer with a focus on systems and control. I'm very interested in mechatronics, automation and blending the fields between electrical and mechanical engineering. It has been an amazing opportunity for me to get an education in engineering while living in Whitefish, Montana where the mountain vistas are breathtaking and the teaching staff is second to none. Other fields of interest for me include: solar science, alternative energy, atmospheric science, and passive systems. For recreation I enjoy skiing with friends, hiking with my dog, and being with my wife.
